Behaviour Workshop

Llanover village hall, Monmouthshire, NP7 9EU

Monday 8th May 2017 – Pre-school children Tuesday 16th May – School-age children

In response to feedback from families we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a behaviour workshop.  This workshop is for families of children and young people with Down Syndrome who are either pre-school or school-age.  This workshop is not for school staff.

The workshop will run from 10am till 1pm at Llanover village hall, Monmouthshire, NP7 9EU.  You are welcome to leave at 1pm when we finish but if you would like to stay for lunch and further discussion, please indicate on the form below any dietary requirements and circle the relevant answer.

During the morning we will look at the learning profile of children with Downs Syndrome, what are the things that impact negatively on our children’s behaviour, the link between communication and behaviour and, of course, how to promote positive behaviour and deal with unwanted behaviour.

The workshop will be led by Victoria Hughes from the 21 Plus School Support Service and Katharina Barker. Please direct all bookings/enquiries to Katharina.

Fee
