Starting School
Online for parents of 21 Plus
This workshop is organised and run by 21 Plus. Starting School is suitable for all parents of pre-school children.
The workshop will be delivered online. The workshop will last for approximately one hour, with 30 minutes for questions.
The session will cover:
- Which school
- Timeline
- Who is who and what is their role
- Multidisciplinary team
- Parent’s contribution
- New ALN Act
- One to one support
- Relationship with school
- Getting the child ready
Our speaker is from 21 Plus. Victoria Hughes will lead the session. Victoria, and her colleague Nicky, run the 21 Plus School Support Service, as well as running Talk Time and Talk About.
There is no fee to attend this workshop.
